Sea of Azov, Sunset.Sea of Azov Mariupol is located on the coast of the Sea of Azov. The Sea of Azov is the smallest sea on Earth. Its maximum depth is only 13 meters. Thanks to the shallow water, the swimming season opens at the end of May for tourists that come for vacation. And in the middle of summer, the water temperature reaches 28-30 degrees. Residents of Mariupol loved to walk along the waterfront. Vacation at the Sea of Azov is not only pleasant, but also healthy. Its waters hold 92 essential minerals for humans. The Sea of Azov is very rich in iodine, which contributed to the treatment and prevention of many diseases; it is also very abundant with a variety of fish, thanks to which many people survived during the Great Patriotic War. Mariupol was captured in parts by units of the 3rd Panzer Corps of the 1st Panzer Group of the Wehrmacht.
